Lower limb orthopaedic appliances or braces designed to support, align, prevent or correct deformities and injuries of the knee, ankle and foot, and to influence the structural and functional characteristics of the neuromuscular and skeletal systems. These devices are used to support and improve function of the lower limb in orthopaedic conditions, and may also be employed to offload and redistribute foot pressures to improve blood flow and assist healing of diabetic foot ulcers or postsurgical wounds.
