Patient positioning and immobilisation devices are attached to or used with medical equipment to ensure adequate positioning and immobilisation of the patient's head, neck and cervical spine during procedures. These devices are used across operating rooms, imaging suites, and intensive care settings during surgical procedures including spinal surgeries, diagnostic imaging, interventional procedures, and minimally invasive treatments such as vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty, as well as during radiation therapy, to aid patient positioning and comfort whilst minimising head motion.
