Programmable hydrocephalus valve programmers are devices intended to non-invasively locate, read and change the operating pressure of implanted cerebrospinal shunt adjustable valves in order to adapt to the clinical evolution of the patient. These instruments are used in the treatment of hydrocephalus to determine, change and monitor the pressure level of the adjustable gravitational unit and differential pressure unit of the valve.
