Prosthetic liners are flexible devices designed to be fitted inside the socket of an external upper or lower limb prosthesis to form an interface between the socket and the residual limb, enabling optimal fit through mechanical coupling and/or pressure differential. These liners are used in conjunction with a prosthetic socket to provide cover for the residual limb and mitigate the load transferred from the residual limb to the prosthesis across various tissues.
