Acetabular support components are devices that provide additional support for replacement acetabular components in hip joint reconstruction, used in cases of bony defects and acetabular reconstruction. These devices are indicated for revision of previous implants in the presence of insufficient bone or seriously altered bone structures, congenital dysplasia, acetabular fractures, and to support replacement acetabular components in damaged acetabula.
