Radiation shielding devices are made of metal alloys or lead-based materials shaped to shield non-involved parts of the anatomy from ionising radiation during radiotherapy treatment. These devices are positioned in the radiation beam or placed on the patient's skin to protect anatomy outside the treatment area during electron or kV radiation therapy.
