Sensory perception threshold testing devices are non-invasive collections of instruments including monofilaments, reflex hammers and tuning forks that determine a patient's level of sensory perception by applying physical stimuli to the skin. These devices are used to screen for peripheral nerve impairment and examine patients where sensory disorders are suspected, including those arising from early diabetes, neurotoxic exposure, ergonomic injury or trauma.
