Nd:YAG lasers operate at dual wavelengths (1064 nm and 532 nm) to perform incision, excision, ablation, and vaporisation of soft tissue through selective photothermolysis of target chromophores. These devices are used in dermatological and surgical procedures to remove tattoos across different ink colours and to treat benign vascular lesions such as port wine birthmarks and telangiectasias, as well as benign pigmented lesions including naevi and lentigines.
