Surgical plume evacuation system filter

Surgical plume evacuation filters are devices used as part of surgical plume evacuation systems to entrap particulates and microbes from smoke created through the use of tissue-burning surgical devices such as lasers and electrosurgical diathermy devices, preventing them from exhausting into ambient air or evacuation tubing systems.
