Suture knot pusher, reusable

Device Category Dossier for Suture knot pusher, reusable. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Suture knot pushers are hand-held, reusable surgical instruments that advance extracorporeally created suture knots to the desired location by means of a long, thin, rod-like device with a guiding mechanism at its distal end that steers down the suture whilst a blunted nose pushes the knot. These devices are used in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures to secure sutures at appropriate tension during surgical operations.
