ZUMENON was first listed on the ARTG on 8 September 2000 as a 2mg tablet in blister pack format. In November 2017, the PBAC recommended an amendment to the PBS listing to allow estradiol transdermal patches to be used for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause. In July 2024, the PBAC recommended ZUMENON for climacteric symptoms after natural or surgical menopause.
