Intended purpose

The Mpact acetabular shell is designed to be used in total hip arthroplasty to provide increased patient mobility and reduced pain by replacing the damaged hip joint for primary or revision surgery

Functional description

The acetabular shell is metallic and is designed for use in partial or total hip arthroplasty. It is fitted together as a two piece component. The Mpact Acetabular consists of two individual components, an acetabular shell and an associated liner. The two hole shell allows for the use of bone screws to provide additional fixation.
