Delta One TT Hemespheric Module - Acetabular shell

Intended purpose

The outer portion of an acetabulum prosthesis used for stabilisation. It is sterile, made of metal, and is applied to the pelvis with bone cement and/or fixation devices. The Acetabulum shell is covered internally with a liner that serves as an articulating surface.

Functional description

The Hemispheric Module is a device that screws onto the outside of the acetabular cup where large bone void is present to assist in stabilising the acetabular cup during a hip replacement.
