Delta Revision TT Acetabular Cup, Ti - Acetabular shell

Intended purpose

The outer portion of a two-piece acetabulum prosthesis used for revision surgery, and is applied to the pelvis with bone cement and/or fixation devices. It is covered internally with a liner that serves as an articulating surface.

Functional description

An acetabulum prosthesis used in revision cases to replace the acetabular side of the hip during a hip replacement. The device has lugs for bone screws to give better fixation in the area were large bone loss has been experienced. The cup will take a liner that serves as an articulating surface for the head of the femoral stem.
