Metal casing acetabular shell component of the Cementless acetabular replacement system indicated for biological fixation as a total hip prosthesis. Ideal in the treatment of dysplastic coxarthrosis of the hip and for the first revision where bone quality is good enough.

Functional description

Metal casing acetabular shell component of a cementless acetabular replacement system used for cementless fixation in the acetabulum in primary hip arthroplasty. The acetabular cup is used to replace the acetabular cavity during primary and revision surgery. In the SC model primary stability between the metal casing and the acetabulum is provided mechanically by the press-fit joint along the equator.
