Intended purpose

The Mpact acetabular shell is designed to be used in total hip arthroplasty, for primary or revision surgery.

Functional description

The acetabular shell is metallic and is designed for use in partial or total hip arthroplasty. It is fitted together as a two piece component. The Mpact Acetabular consists of two individual components, an acetabular shell and an associated liner. The multi hole and rim hole shells allow for the use of bone screws to provide additional fixation.
