Intended purpose

Titanium alloy solid or limited hole acetabular shell to be used as part of the G7 acetabular system for both primary and revision applications. The titanium porous with Bonemaster hydroxyapetite coating is intended for uncemented biological fixation.

Functional description

Titanium alloy shell with titanium alloy porous plasma spray and Bonemaster hydroxyapetite coating. The Bonemaster HA coating creates a favourable environment for osteoblast adhesion. The shells are available in either solid shell or limited hold design, with apical plugs. The shell is packaged without a liner and requires selection of the correct liner to complete the G7 acetabular component.
