EcoFit HA Cup cementless - Acetabular shell

Intended purpose

A cementless acetabular cup component used in the primary operation of the hip joint impaired by conditions such as arthrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, femoral neck fractures, avascular necrosis, or hip dysplasia.

Functional description

A titanium acetabular cup designed to be press fit into the prepared acetabulum. Three covered screw holes allow the use of screws for additional stability. The outer surface has a HA coating covering a titanium plasma spray which creates a roughened surface for press fit fixation against the prepared bone. The shell can accept a ceramic or a polyethylene liner.
