Functional description
The Saturne II cementless dual mobility cup fits into the acetabulum. It is manufactured from stainless steel and the outer surface is coated with a titanium-HAP double coating to promote osseointegration in the iliac bone whereas the inner surface is polished to improve the movement of the liner. The press-fit zone of the Ti-HA coated stainless steel hemispheric cup is composed by oblique grooves to prevent the rotation of the shell, and parallel grooves to prevent the extraction.
