APRIL Polyethene is a single-use titanium alloy Ti6Al4V shell, coated with porous titanium and hydroxyapatite ceramic, designed to be implanted in the acetabulum without cement. They are sterile implants, intended for use in the primary total hip replacement in conjunction with the INLOCK X insert.

Functional description

The April Acetabular Shell is made of titanium alloy with a hydroxyapatite coating to enhance boney integration. Factory fitted blanking covers prevent debris migration if acetabular screws are not used.
