Procotyl® P Shell Apical Plug - Acetabulum prosthesis apical hole plug

Intended purpose

Procotyl® P is intended for use in total hip arthroplasty for reduction or relief of pain and/or improved hip function in skeletally mature patients.

Functional description

A small, threaded Ti6Al4V apical hole plug that is screwed into the driver hole of an acetabular shell after the acetabular shell’s implantation. Acetabulum prosthesis apical hole plugs are provided sterile to the end user. This is an optional part.
