Intended purpose

Intended to connect the Lead to the compatible Boston Scientific Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG).

Functional description

The 16-Contact Lead Extension Kit is comprised of a Lead Extension, a Hex Wrench and a Port Plug. Lead Extensions are thin, insulated wires that connect the DBS Leads to the IPG to extend the length of the DBS lead and support the IPG placement within the patient at the pectoral or abdominal region.
