Intended purpose

The CPS Aim SL Slittable Inner Catheter Subselector with Integrated Valve is intended for subselection of the venous system of the heart, and to serve as a conduit during implantation of active implant medical devices for delivery of contrast medium and St. Jude Medical devices, including guidewires. In addition, CPS Aim SL Slittable Inner Subselector catheters can work with outer guide catheters as a system.

Functional description

The CPS Aim SL Slittable Inner Catheter Subselector with Integrated Valve is designed to facilitate left heart lead delivery procedures. The intergrated valve provides haemostasis and facilitates contrast injection. When used in conjunction with outer guide catehters the CPS Aim SL Slittable catheter can function as a dual-catheter assembly. The CPS Aim SL Catheter includes:1 inner catheter,2 Valve Bypass Tools for facilitating the entry devices through the hemostasis valve.
