Intended purpose

The COBRA-OSTM is intended for temporary occlusion of large vessels including patients requiring emergency control of hemorrhage.

Functional description

The COBRA-OS™ is a large vessel balloon occlusion system designed to be inserted through the femoral artery at the groin. The COBRA-OS™ is designed to occlude the aorta in the descending thoracic aorta or to occlude the aorta below the renal arteries.
