Intended purpose

The Biolox Delta ceramic modular head is a component of the Trinity Acetabular System indicated for use in non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease including osteoarthritis and avascular necrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, correction of functional deformity, DDH or CDH of the hip.

Functional description

The Trinity Acetabular System is a modular acetabular cup system consisting of a press fit, titanium alloy shell for use ceramic and polyethylene liners and a dedicated range of ceramic modular 12/14 taper femoral heads providing ceramic on ceramic or ceramic on polyethylene articulations for use in total hip replacement procedures using any Corin femoral stem with a 12/14 taper connection
