Intended purpose

ceramys femoral head manufactured from ZrO2-Al2O3 for treating diseased hip joints for primary surgery.

Functional description

A ceramic femoral head to be used in conjunction with a femoral stem to articulate against an acetabular component for primary hip surgery. Ceramys femoral heads can be used to articulate with ceramys inlays, polyethylene inlays and highly cross-linked polyethylene inlays.
