Intended purpose

Indications for use are for primary and secondary osteoarthritis; inflammatory osteoarthitis; DDH Crowe 1 & 2; Head and neck fracture of the femur (preserving greater and lesser trochanter).

Functional description

A sterile implantable device designed to replace the proximal femoral body as part of a total hip arthroplasty (THA). The device is composed of two or more separate segments designed to be joined and is coated with hydroxyapatite and porous coating to improve fixation and stability by promoting bone ingrowth.
