Trinity Liner HXLPE - Constrained polyethylene acetabular liner

Intended purpose

The Trinity HXLPE Liner is a component of the Trinity Acetabular System which is intended for use in total hip arthroplasty in skeletally mature patients, to provide increased mobility and reduce pain by replacing the damaged hip joint articulation where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components.

Functional description

The Trinity HXLPE Liner is component of the Trinity Acetabular System. The modular acetabular cup system consists of a press fit, titanium alloy shell for use with a polyethylene(HXLPE) liner and a cast cobalt chrome alloy modular femoral head (12/14 taper), providing a metal on polyethylene articulation for use in total hip replacement procedures.
