Constrained polyethylene acetabular liner

Device Category Dossier for Constrained polyethylene acetabular liner. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Constrained polyethylene acetabular liners are cup insert components used in total hip prostheses that mechanically constrain the femoral head to reduce the risk of dislocation. They are indicated for primary and revision hip replacement in patients at high risk of dislocation due to factors such as prior dislocation, bone loss, neuromuscular disease, dysplastic disorders, or when complications from previous hip surgery require revision.
