Intended purpose
The primary atraumatic wound dressing is intended to form a sterile, mechanical barrier over the wound. It can also be used in combination with appropriate secondary wound dressings for exuding wounds, decubitus, oozing crural ulcers, diabetic foot, secondarily healing exuding laparotomy wounds, secreting burn areas, purulent skin fistulae, drainages, carcinoma of the jaw, ulcerating carcinoma and similar secreting wounds.
