Intended purpose

The subject device is used to provide immobilization and stabilization of spinal segments in the treatment of acute and chronic instabilities or deformities of the spine as an adjunct to fusion. The device is surgically implanted from a posterior approach. The device includes pedicle screws, rods, connectors and hooks.
