Intended purpose
The cartridge is intended to fold and inject intraocular lenses into the capsular bag or sulcus during cataract surgery. The cartridge is to be used in combination with a reusable injector to form an injection system which permits the implantation of intraocular lens into the eye. A lens is never part of the cartridge and always supplied separately.
