MUTARS GenuX MK offset adapter - Knee stem

Intended purpose

An adaptor component of the MUTARS system intended to offset the alignment of the femoral or tibial stem connection as part of a knee replacement prosthesis. Primary indication for the use of the MUTARS systems is after bone resection because of a tumour. Further indications for the use of the MUTARS systems are massive bone loss such as in Morbus Gorham or for the revision arthroplasty and for the prosthetic treatment in case of fractures, pseudarthrosis and arthrosis

Functional description

Serves as a connection between the MUTARS GenuX MK Stems and the MUTARS GenuX MK tibia and femur respectively that allow an adjustment of the tibial or femoral offset. Made of TiAl6V4 Alloy with sandblasted surface. It has a symmetric female double taper with an angle of 3 degrees 1’ 18” and a length of 17 mm. The diameter at the top is 9.14 mm. The offset adapter has an additional fit (diameter 12 mm g6). The overall length is 57.74 mm and it includes a bilateral extraction thread (M8).
