Intended purpose

The device is intended to correct aphakia following removal of the natural crystalline lens.

Functional description

The device, Model DXR00V, is an UV and violet light-filtering posterior chamber IOL, intended to provide a continuous range of high-quality vision without compromise in distance vision even in low-contrast conditions. It is designed to be positioned in the lens capsule to replace the optical function of the natural crystalline lens. The delivery system is designed to provide a sterile, controlled and touch-free method of delivering the IOL into the eye.
