Device Category Dossier for Lens, intraocular, posterior chamber. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Intraocular posterior chamber lenses are implanted devices used to correct aphakia and pre-existing corneal astigmatism in adult patients following cataract extraction, with some designs extending depth of focus to improve intermediate vision. These lenses are placed in the capsular bag to restore visual function after removal of the natural crystalline lens.
