Intended purpose

The NexGen Augmentation patella is indicated for use in procedures involving: - Revision total knee arthroplasty with inadequate patellar bone stock for standard patellar revision - Patellar fracture after total knee arthroplasty.

Functional description

The NexGen Augmentation Patella consists of a polyethylene patella and an augmentation base made from trabecular metal with a titanium alloy suture ring for additional fixation to the patellar tendon and remaining bone stock. Both these components have an oval geometry and are indicated for cemented and cementless use.
