Freedom Constrained 36mm Modular Head Type 1 Taper - Metallic femoral head prosthesis

Intended purpose

The Freedom Constrained Modular Head is intended for use as a femoral component of a total hip prosthesis with the Freedom Constrained Liner System. For primary and revision patients at high risk of dislocation due to a previous history of dislocation, bone loss, joint or soft tissue laxity, neuromuscular disease or intra-operative instability, and for whom all other options to constrained acetabular components have been considered.

Functional description

Freedom Constrained Modular Head component hip joint replacement prosthesis. Made from Co/Cr/Mo Alloy. Type 1 taper. 15 Degree Circumferential Flat to reduce head while providing additional dislocation resistance.
