Trinity Modular Head - Metallic femoral head prosthesis

Intended purpose

The Trinity Modular Head (CoCr) is a component of the Trinity Acetabular System which is intended for use in total hip arthroplasty in skeletally mature patients, to provide increased mobility and reduce pain by replacing the damaged hip joint articulation where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components.

Functional description

The Trinity Modular Head is a cast cobalt chrome alloy(CoCr) modular femoral head with a 12/14 taper, which provides a metal on polyethylene articulation for use in total hip replacement procedures when using any Corin femoral stem with a 12/14 taper connection.
