ZIMMER® Femoral Head, 6 Degree Taper - Metallic femoral head prosthesis

Intended purpose

A metal femoral head component intended to replace the head of the femur during total hip arthroplasty.

Functional description

Constructed from Zimaloy® CoCrMo alloy, the femoral head is assembled onto the proximal aspect of the femoral stem and mates with an acetabular component. The 6 degree femoral heads mate with corresponding 6 degree femoral stems.
