Intended purpose

The VerSys Endoprosthesis Femoral Head is a modular component used in hemi-hip arthroplasty to replace the head of the femur and articulates with the natural acetabulum.

Functional description

The VerSys Endoprosthesis Femoral Head is made from Zimaloy® Cobalt-Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy and is intended for mating with Tivanium® Ti-6Al-4V or Zimaloy Alloy femoral stems with 12/14 tapered necks. If longer neck configuration is needed, the uni polar endoprosthesis head adapter may be used.
