TRINITY CoCr MODULAR HEAD (12/14 TAPER) - Metallic femoral head prosthesis

Intended purpose

The Trinity CoCr Modular Head is a component of the Trinity™ Dual Mobility System which is intended for use in primary and revision total hip arthroplasty (THA) to provide increased stability and reduce pain by replacing the hip joint articulation where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components.

Functional description

The Trinity Dual Mobility System is a modular acetabular system consisting of two articulating surfaces in the same joint space. The Trinity Modular Head is a cast cobalt chrome alloy(COCr) 22mm diameter modular femoral head with a 12/14 taper, which provides a metal on polyethylene articulation for use in total hip replacement procedures when using any Corin femoral stem with a 12/14 taper connection.Indicated for Cementless use only.
