Intended purpose

The Fin II Cancellous Bone screws are self threading screws used to secure the implantable Fin II acetabular cup in place. The bone screw provides additional fixation to assist in the implantation of the joint replacement. It is used with a slotted head, typically used for internal orthopaedic fracture fixation by being screwed into bone to provide direct interfragmentary stabilization of bone.
