Intended purpose

These screws are to be surgically inserted into a patient to internally fixate a bone during orthopaedic surgery. They can remain in the patient indefinitely or removed when required. An Anatomical example for use of these screws include: Attain fixation and alignment of the 1st Metatarsal and 1st Phalanx during bunion surgery, or alternatively the screw can be used to hold a reduced fracture into position allowing it to heal. No limitations to the screw.
