Intended purpose

Cemex Genta bone cement is indicated for the fixation of joint prostheses implants to the host bone. In particular, this cement is indicated where there is the risk or presence of infections caused by organisms susceptible to Gentamicin.

Functional description

Cemex Genta is a two-part (powder and liquid) radiopaque, polymethylmethacrylate bone cement, containing gentamicin, which is designed for mixing together at the point of use to form the cement.
