Intended purpose
The device is used for preparing the cannulation of vessels for extracorporeal circulation. Typical cannulation procedures include cannulation of an artery, e.g., femoral artery or cannulation of a vein, e.g., femoral vein or internal jugular vein. The device is not intended to be used for cannulation of central circulatory system vessels.
