Intended purpose
The Tornier PerFORM Keeled glenoid is a component of the Tornier shoulder prostheses intended for replacement of a diseased or damage shoulder joint to reduce pain and improve shoulder mobility.
Functional description
The keeled glenoid is intended to replace the glenoid part of the scapulohumeral joint as part of a total anatomical shoulder prosthesis and is coupled with a humeral component and is intended for cemented use only. It is made of UHMWPE and is non-symmetrical in shape where the backside of the glenoid has a curvature of 40mm and three augment options (15, 25 and 35 degree)
