Intended purpose

The Affinis Revision Cone with Screw is a component of the Affinis Total Shoulder System that is used for primary, secondary and posttraumatic osteoarthritis; cuff tear arthropathy; fracture sequelae and avascular head necrosis.

Functional description

The Affinis Revision Cone is used in case of revision of the head and/or glenoid component only where the stem may be left insitu. The system allows to securely exchange the cone to ensure good fixation of the new head implant. The cone is adjustable and movable which when coupled with an eccentric head is used for restoring the centre of rotation of the humeral head for exact reconstruction of the proximal humerus.
