Intended purpose

The Express Vascular LD Premounted Stent System is indicated for use in the treatment of peripheral vascular lesions.

Functional description

The Express Vascular LD Premounted Stent System consists of a balloon expandable stent machine mounted onto a balloon catheter. The system is advanced over a guidewire to the lesion and, once in place, the balloon is then slowly inflated to deploy and expand the stent. Once the stent is deployed, the balloon is then deflated and slowly withdrawn.
