Intended purpose

The Equinoxe Glenosphere is attached to the glenoid base plate to articulate with the reverse shoulder humeral liner as part of a reverse shoulder joint replacement. It is connected using a Locking Screw. The device is indicated for use in skeletally mature individuals with degenerative diseases of the glenohumeral joint and a grossly deficient, irreparable rotator cuff. The device is also indicated for a failed glenohumeral joint replacement with loss of rotator cuff function resulting in superior migration of the humeral head.

Functional description

The Equinoxe Glenosphere is made of CoCr alloy and is attached to the glenoid base plate to articulate with the reverse shoulder humeral liner as part of a reverse shoulder joint replacement. It is connected using a Locking Screw made of Ti Alloy.
