Intended purpose
The Modular Revision neck with screw forms part of the modular revision hip system that is designed to treat: - Advanced articular destruction combined with congenital or acquired deformity; - Proximal femoral bone deficiency requiring hip arthroplasty: Fracture (primary fracture in the sub-trochanteric region, periprosthetic fracture) – Failure of medical devices, e. g. primary total hip prosthesis, osteosynthesis – Correction of rotational malalignment, trochanteric osteotomy, dysplasia.
Functional description
The modular revision neck with screw is manufactured from Ti6Al4V with a 12/14 cone and is designed to be used with the modular revision stem. The neck and stem are connected by a morse taper additionally secured with a safety screw. The upper part of the neck, which is in contact with soft tissue, has a polished finishing.
